Opening Tips

• Utah State's streak of nine-straight victories to start the season tied for the best start in school history alongside the 1938-39 and 1917-18 teams. At 9-1, USU has registered the best start through 10 games since the 2019-20 season.

• Utah State is in the top 10 in the nation in 3-point field goal percentage (.447, 1st), effective field goal percentage (.598, 2nd), 3-pointers made per game (11.50, 5th), bench points per game (36.10, 5th), assist-to-turnover ratio (1.63, 5th), assists per game (19.40, 6th) and points per game (86.60, 7th).

• Utah State is the only team in the nation to shoot over 50 percent from behind the arc while making at least 19 3s in two games this season (61.3 percent (19-of-31) vs. Oral Roberts; 56.8 percent (21-of-37) vs. Westminster).

• Utah State set a school-record with 21 made 3-pointers in its win against Westminster, breaking the previous mark of 20 made treys set during the 2005-06 season at New Mexico State. Furthermore, Utah State's 19 made 3-pointers against Oral Roberts (11/22/22) are the third-most in school history, while the 14 made 3s at San Diego are tied for the fifth-most in a single-game in school history.

• Junior guard Steven Ashworth leads the MW and ranks fourth nationally in 3-point field goal percentage (.540), and leads the conference and ranks fifth in the nation in 3s made per game (4.00). Grad forward Taylor Funk is second in the MW and 48th in the nation in 3-point FG percentage (.431), and is second in the conference and 26th in the nation in 3-pointers made per game (3.11).

• Utah State's bench leads the Mountain West and is fifth in the nation in points per game (36.10). Utah State's bench has outscored its opponents 361-185 (36.1 to 18.5) this season as its reserves have accounted for 41.7 percent of USU's points. Utah State's bench is shooting 55.5 percent (120-of-216) from the field, 50.5 percent (47-of-93) from behind the arc and 71.8 percent (74-of-103) at the free throw line this season.

• An Aggie reserve has led the team in scoring in six of the 10 games this season. Ashworth led the Aggies off the bench three times, grad forward Dan Akin has led the Aggies twice and sophomore forward Zee Hamoda led USU once. Utah State has had at least two bench players score in double figures in six of its 10 games this season as the Aggies are 6-0 when multiple bench players score in double figures during the campaign.
