Game Recap: Men's Basketball | | Emma Becerra
LOGAN, Utah - Junior wing Great Osobor and graduate senior guard Darius Brown II combined for 53 points in Utah State's 93-84 in-state win against Southern Utah inside the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum Tuesday night.

Osobor scored a career-high 31 points, to go along with 10 rebounds and four assists as he posted his fourth-career double-double. For the game, he shot 9-of-12 from the field and 13-for-17 at the free-throw line. Brown scored a season-high 22 points, shooting 8-of-13 from the field and 5-of-9 from 3-point range. Brown also tied his season high with eight assists.

Junior guard Josh Uduje added 14 points and five rebounds, while redshirt freshman guard Mason Falslev scored 11 points and grabbed a season-high nine boards.

SUU started the game off strong, scoring the first eight points of the game and led by as many as 10 midway through the first half at 35-25. The momentum shifted in the Aggies' favor with 2:17 left remaining in the half. A Brown defensive rebound led to a 3, and he immediately followed with a steal that led to a layup to tie the game at 42-each. An Uduje steal and dunk in the very next possession then gave USU its first lead of the game 44-42. Utah State headed to the locker room ahead 46-45.

The Aggies started the second half strong with a 10-0 run. About halfway through the second half, USU established its largest lead of 14 points after a 3-point shot from Brown and a bucket from Uduje for the 71-57 advantage.

Prophet Johnson led the Thunderbirds' offense with 24 points and an assist. Although SUU had a promising first half, once the Aggies took the lead, they never gave it up. As a team, Utah State recorded three season highs, shooting 63.5 percent from the field, six blocked shots and 21 free throws converted.

Utah State returns to action on Sunday, Nov. 19, when it faces Marshall at 3 p.m. (MT), in its first game at the Cayman Islands Classic. The game will broadcast on FloHoops.
