Darius Brown II posted a double-double with 13 points and 11 assists to lead No. 20 Utah State to a convincing 83-59 Mountain West home win against Wyoming inside the Dee Glen Smith Spectrum Tuesday night.
Utah State (15-1, 3-0 MW), who entered the Associated Press poll this week for the first time since the 2019-20 campaign, improved to 66-20 all-time when nationally ranked. The Aggies also extended their winning streak to 14-straight games, which is the longest active streak in the nation and the third-longest winning streak in school history.
After holding a slim 35-33 lead at halftime, Utah State scored the first 11 points of the second half, which extended into a 20-5 run, as the Aggies never looked back in posting the 24-point win, which was its largest lead of the game.

Mason Falslev added another to bring the crowd of 8,214 to its feet.
Utah State shot a blistering 60.6 percent (20-of-33) in the second half and held Wyoming (8-8, 1-2 MW) to 33.3 percent (6-of-18) as the Aggies outscored the Cowboys 48-26 in the final 20 minutes.
Osobor, who was 9-of-11 from the field and 2-for-2 at the free throw line, added eight rebounds, three assists and two steals. Brown, who tied his season-high in assists, also had two steals and was 5-of-10 from the field. Redshirt sophomore center
Isaac Johnson was the third Aggie to score in double-figures as he had 10 points.
Utah State finished the game shooting 52.5 percent (32-of-61), including 27.3 percent (6-of-22) from behind the arc and 92.9 percent (13-of-14) at the free throw line. USU also had 24 assists and a season-low seven turnovers.
Mason Walters led Wyoming with 17 points as the Cowboys shot 40.0 percent (18-of-45), including 27.8 percent (5-of-18) from 3-point range, and 78.3 percent (18-of-23) at the free throw line.
Utah State made its first three baskets of the game as it raced out to an early 8-2 lead. Wyoming, however, responded with an 8-2 run of its own to tie the game at 10-10. The Aggies eventually extended its advantage to eight at 30-22 with 5:08 to play in the opening half, but the Cowboys once again responded and closed the half on an 11-5 run to get within two at 35-33 at intermission.
Utah State returns to action on Saturday, Jan. 13, when it plays at UNLV at 1 p.m. (MT). The game will be nationally televised on CBS Sports Network.
