LOGAN, Utah  — Artie Gulden, Utah State's director of track & field and cross country, announced his 31-member signing class on Thursday.

"We are really excited about our recruiting class," Gulden said. "A number of them should make a big impact from day one that they arrive. The best part of this incoming class is we have all event groups covered really well, which will help us continue to move the program forward and get kids qualified for NCAAs."

Twenty-two will enroll this fall, one will enroll this spring and eight will defer enrollment to serve missions for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.

The state of Utah produced the most signees with 11, followed by eight from Idaho, four from Arizona, three from Texas and one athlete each from California, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma and Japan.
