LOGAN, Utah – Utah State's women's cross country team claimed the team title, while the men's team placed fourth, at the USU-hosted Steve T. Reeder Memorial Invitational at Steve and Dona Reeder Cross Country Course on Friday. Sophomore
Alayna Wardle led the USU women to victory in the 5K race with a seventh-place finish and junior
Drew Hogan paced the Aggie men with his eighth-place finish in the 7K race.

Cameron Moore led a balanced Aggie effort, placing seventh through ninth with respective times of 19:04, 19:08 and 19:11. Freshman
Taylor Palmer earned a career-best finish as she took 17th with a time of 19:30. Sophomore
Cailey Bracken rounded out the Utah State scorers, finishing in 20th place to secure a narrow home victory. Unattached runner Saga Hagelin, a former Weber State student-athlete, won the individual title with a time of 17:55.
The Aggie men started off the home meet with a fourth-place team finish in the 7K race, earning 84 points. Hogan and sophomore
John Simmons finished eighth and ninth, pacing USU with respective times of 21:38 and 21:39. Freshman
Ethan Peterson placed 28th with his time of 22:15, while sophomores
Luke Stockett and
Michael Moffat finished 42nd and 58th with times of 22:40 and 23:14, respectively. BYU's Hunter Kitchen finished first overall with a time of 21:11, leading No. 6 BYU to the team title.
Utah State will split its squad next week for its final regular season meets, the Wisconsin-hosted Nuttycombe Invitational in Madison, Wisconsin, on Friday, Oct. 17, and the Missouri-hosted 2025 Pre-National Invitational in Columbia, Missouri, on Saturday, Oct. 18.
