OGDEN, Utah — Utah State track & field claimed four titles and 11 podium finishes at the Weber State Indoor Invitational in Ogden, Utah, on Friday and Saturday.
Sophomore
Ayodele Ojo, Jr. won his second sprint title in as many meets on Saturday, winning the men's 55 meters with a time of 6.30. He shaved 0.07 seconds off of his prelim time, which had seeded him fourth for the final.
Junior
Sam Beckwith claimed the title in the men's long jump on Friday, posting a personal-best jump of 7.19 meters (23-7). The Alpine, Utah, native saved his best for last, posting his winning mark on the final jump of the competition to defeat Utah Valley's Gavin Stafford by a quarter inch.
USU's relay teams earned two first-place finishes and a second-place finish to round out Saturday's competition. The men's 4x400-meter relay team of sophomore

In the men's pole vault, seniors
Marshall Rasmussen and
Javin Richards tied for second with clearances of 4.60 meters (15-11).
In the women's 55 meters, freshman
Adia Ross took third place in the competition with a time of 7.03. Ross's time was 0.12 seconds faster than the winning time in the event a year ago, when USU's
Emma Reeves won the title at the 2025 Weber State Indoor Invitational with a time of 7.15.
Junior
Elle Jacobson added to the long jumpers' success on Friday, posting a personal-best mark of 5.68 meters (18-7.5) to finish third in the women's competition.
Graduate
Annie Ivins took third place in the women's 800 meters, crossing the line in a time of 2:15.81.
Senior
Krysthina Vlahovic added a third-place finish of her own in the women's 55-meter hurdles, finishing in 8.07.
Utah State will compete next weekend at the Snake River Open in Pocatello, Idaho, from Thursday-Saturday, Jan. 15-17. In World Athletics competition, senior
Logan Hammer is set to compete at the National Pole Vault Summit in Reno, Nevada, on Friday and Saturday, Jan. 16-17.
