LOGAN, Utah – Utah State had 17 former football players work out in front of 28 National Football League (NFL) Scouts Wednesday morning during its annual Pro Day.

In all, scouts from the Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, Carolina Panthers, Chicago Bears, Cleveland Browns, Dallas Cowboys, Denver Broncos, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, Indianapolis Colts, Jacksonville Jaguars, Kansas City Chiefs, Los Angeles Chargers, Miami Dolphins, Minnesota Vikings, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, New York Giants, New York Jets, Oakland Raiders, Philadelphia Eagles, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Francisco 49ers, Seattle Seahawks, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Washington Redskins were in attendance.

Participating in this year's Pro Day event were the following former Aggies: Adewale Adeoye, Eltoro Allen, Roman Andrus, Rob Castaneda, Gaje Ferguson, Quin Ficklin, Jalen Greene, Justen Hervey, Dax Raymond, Jontrell Rocquemore, Suli Tamaivena, Ron'quavion Tarver, Sean Taylor, Darwin Thompson, Aaren Vaughns, Aaron Wade and Emerson Woods.

"I think today was awesome, there was a ton of energy," said Raymond. "It was good to see all the guys back here and see how hard they've worked. I feel like everyone gave it their all. As for me personally, I feel like I showed that I can be a consistent pass catcher. I showed that I can block as well. I've only heard positive things, so I feel like it went really well."

Pro Day began in the ICON Sports Performance Center, where players had their height, weight and wing span measured, followed by performance tests in the vertical jump and bench press.

The remaining drills were performed in Utah State's Stan Laub Indoor Practice Facility, where players were timed in the 40-yard dash, shuttle run and three-cone pro agility run, along with the broad jump and other on-field tests.

Highlighting Wednesday's action was Vaughns, who ran a 4.43 40-yard dash, while Hervey clocked in with a time of 4.46. Wade ran a 4.47, while Thompson ran a 4.50 and Rocquemore clocked in with a time of 4.57.

"Overall, I couldn't have asked for a better day," said Rocquemore. "I jumped really good and my bench was solid. From what I've heard, it's 'Show them you can play safety until told otherwise.' If a team is able to play the same kind of defense we've got now, I would love it. I'm definitely fine playing whatever they need me to play. I've heard that I looked a lot better and moved a lot better than they thought I would. That was my goal, to come out here and show them that I'm not just an outside linebacker, I can be whatever they need me to be."

Rocquemore had the best vertical jump during the day with a leap of 39.5 inches while Thompson jumped 39.0 inches, Hervey jumped 38.0 inches and Allen measured out at 37.0 inches. In the broad jump, Hervey and Thompson had the best mark with jumps of 10 feet, 6 inches, while Rocquemore recorded a jump of 10 feet, 5 inches and Allen jumped 10 feet, four inches.

Thompson recorded the top mark in the 225-pound bench press with 28 reps, while Adeoye had 22 reps and Hervey had 20 reps.

"I think it went okay. Today was a pretty good day for me. I feel like I showed everyone that I'm one of the top guys in the draft," said Thompson.

All times and marks listed above are unofficial.

Players will now wait for the NFL Draft, which will take place Thursday through Saturday, April 25-27, at the Downtown Nashville Nissan Stadium in Nashville, Tenn. Round one is on Thursday, April 25. Rounds two and three will be on Friday, April 26, and rounds four through seven will be on Saturday, April 27.
