"This is a big weekend for our teams. We are spread out at four different meets, but everyone that's competing has a great opportunity to do well. We're looking to gain some additional momentum, especially since this is the last weekend we will compete before the indoor conference championships."

ROAD TO NATIONALS
With the upcoming weekend marking the end of the indoor regular season, Utah State student-athletes have their eyes on qualifying for the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships, hosted by Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas, on Mar. 13-14. Three Aggies currently rank among the top-16 athletes nationally in their event, which would qualify them for the national championships. Bott ranks fifth in the nation in the men's 800 meters with a standardized time of 1:45.72, Ojo ranks seventh in the men's 60 meters with an altitude-adjusted time of 6.57 and Hammer ranks 10th in the men's pole vault with a clearance of 5.63 meters (18-5.5). All three Aggies are scheduled to compete this weekend at the Tyson Invitational at the same facility where the championships will be held.
