PLAYER NOTES
* Sophomore SS Devin Centers scored in his second defensive TD of the season on a 10-yard fumble return. Overall, it is Centers third fumble recovery this season and of his career.
* Senior LB Zach Vigil forced his first fumble this season and fourth of his career in the second quarter. Vigil also notched a career-high 3.0 sacks in the game and now has 6.5 sacks this year and 14.0 in his career.
* Senior LB Zach Vigil had 12 tackles for his fourth double-digit tackle outing this year and the 15th of his career. Vigil also moved into 10th-place all-time in school history as he now has 329 career tackles.
* Senior SS Frankie Sutera intercepted his fifth and sixth passes this season and now has seven interceptions in his career. The six interceptions this season are the most by an Aggie since Johndale Carty had six interceptions in 1997. For Sutera, it is his first career multi interception game.
* Senior FS Brian Suite tied his season-high with seven tackles.
* Freshman QB Kent Myers threw his first three career TD passes, including a career-long pass of 70 yards. Myers finished the game 14-of-15 passing for 186 yards, all of which are career-highs.
* Junior WR Hunter Sharp caught his team-leading sixth and seventh TD passes of the season. The two TD receptions are tied for his career-high, as he also had two TD receptions against Air Force. On the season, Sharp now has four TD receptions of 70-plus yards.
* Senior WR Ronald Butler caught his second TD pass of the season and fifth of his career. Butler also threw his second TD pass of the season and his career. Butler also had a career-high six receptions.
* Freshman RB LaJuan Hunt caught his first career TD pass on a 44-yard pass in the third quarter. Hunt also had career-highs in rushing attempts (33) and rushing yards (150), as well as receiving yards (44). Hunt's 33 carries are the most by an Aggie since Joey DeMartino had 35 careers against Colorado State last season. The 150 rushing yards by Hunt is the most by an Aggie since Kerwynn Williams rushed for 235 yards against Toledo in the 2012 Famous Idaho Potato Bowl, and the most by an Aggie freshman since Abu Wilson rushed for 157 yards in 1992.
* Redshirt freshman WR Hayden Weichers had a career-high three receptions for a career-best 27 yards.
* Junior LB LT Filiaga recorded his first career sack.
* Junior CB Bryant Hayes recorded his third sack of the season.
* Junior LB Anthony Williams had a career-high three tackles.
* Sophomore CB Jentz Painter had his first career sack.
* Senior P Jaron Bentrude had two punts downed inside the 20-yard line giving him 23 punts this year and 54 in his career downed inside the 20-yard line. Bentrude also had his fifth punt this year and 15th of his career downed inside the 10-yard line.
* Utah State had two players make his first career start tonight in freshman QB Kent Myers and sophomore DE Siua Taufa.
