PLAYER NOTES
* Utah State had two players make their first career start tonight in junior RB Rashad Hall and redshirt freshman OG Tyshon Mosley.
* Sophomore LB Nick Vigil forced his second fumble of the season and his career.
* Senior LB Zach Vigil recorded his first two sacks of the season and now has 9.5 sacks in his career. Vigil also had a career-high 14 tackles for his 13th career double-digit tackling outing. Vigil also tied his career-high with 3.0 TFL's and tied his career-high with 2.0 sacks.
* Senior LB Zach Vigil now has 270 career tackles to move ahead of Shawn Miller (259) to rank 19th all-time in school history.
* Junior LB LT Filiaga recovered his first two career fumbles and tied his career-high with 10 tackles. Filiaga also had his second career TFL.
* Sophomore S Devin Centers recorded his third sack of the season and his career. Centers also recovered his second fumble of the season and of his career, both in his last two games. Centers also had a career-high 11 tackles for his second-career double-digit tackle outing. Centers also had a career-high 2.5 TFL's.
* Junior DT John Taylor had a career-high two tackles.
* Sophomore QB Darell Garretson's 81-yard TD pass to junior WR Hunter Sharp is a career-long pass for Garretson and a career-long reception for Sharp.
* Sophomore QB Darell Garretson had two TD passes tonight giving him three this year and 13 in his career. Garretson also had a career-high 47 pass attempts.
* Junior WR Hunter Sharp had 130 receiving yards for his second-straight 100-yard receiving game. Overall, Sharp is the first Aggie with back-to-back 100-yard receiving games since Travis Reynolds accomplished the feat during the 2013 season. Hunt also caught his second TD reception of the season.
* Freshman RB LaJuan Hunt had a career-long rush of 16 yards and had a career-high 11 carries for a career-best 48 yards.
* Senior WR Ronald Butler caught his first TD pass of the season and fourth of his career. Butler also tied his career-high with five receptions for a season-best 80 yards.
* Senior SS Frankie Sutera intercepted his second pass of the season and third of his career.
* Junior LB Torrey Green recorded his second sack of the season and his career.
* Senior P Jaron Benturde has three punts downed inside the 20-yard line, giving him 13 punts downed inside the 20-yard line this year and 44 in his career. He also has one punt downed inside the 10-yard line for his third of the season and 14th of his career.
