LOGAN, Utah -

TEAM NOTES
* Captains for tonight's game were senior QB Chuckie Keeton, senior SS Frankie Sutera, junior NG Travis Seefeldt and senior OT Kevin Whimpey.
* Utah State has now won four straight home games and 13 of its last 15 home games overall, including 10 of its last 12 home games against non-conference opponents. USU has also won its last six home openers and is now 78-38-2 all-time in home openers, including a 27-20 record at Romney Stadium.
* Utah State has now won seven of its last nine games played in September.
* Utah State improved to 15-2 all-time against Idaho State, including winning the last four meetings. USU has also won each of its last eight games against FCS schools.
* Utah State's 311 rushing yards are its most since it rushed for 337 yards at New Mexico on Oct. 19, 2013, a span of nine games.
* Utah State has won 14 of its last 15 games when it has at least 40 rushing attempts in a game, following its 45 rushing attempts against Idaho State.
* Utah State's 427 yards of total offense are its most since it had 441 yards of total offense at UNLV on Nov. 9, 2013, a span of seven games.
* Utah State has now intercepted at least one pass in seven of its last eight games dating back to last season as it has 13 interceptions in those eight games. USU also has multiple interceptions in four of its last eight games dating back to 2013 after its three interceptions against Idaho State.
* Utah State's three interceptions are its most since it had three interceptions against Hawai'i on Nov. 2, 2013, while its four forced turnovers are its most since it had four turnovers at Fresno State in the 2013 Mountain West Championship game.
* Utah State has now led at the end of the first quarter in 21 of its last 30 games and is now 19-2 in those games. USU has also now led at the half in 23 of its last 30 games and is now 20-3 in those games.
* Utah State has not allowed a first quarter touchdown in 25 of its last 31 games dating back to the 2011 season. USU has also held 17 of its last 27 opponents without a first half touchdown.

PLAYER NOTES
* Utah State had two players making their first career start tonight in junior LB LT Filiaga and junior WR Hunter Sharp.
* Freshman CB Jalen Davis recorded his first two interceptions of his career and returned one 44 yards for a TD. Davis is the first Aggie to record two interceptions in a game since Brian Suite had two interceptions against Fresno State in the Mountain West Championship game last year. Those two interceptions are the most by a USU freshman since Terrance Washington had five picks in 2003.
* Senior PK Nick was 2-of-2 on field goals (31, 24) and is now 29-of-38 all-time in field goals, including 12-of-15 from 20-29 yards and 8-of-10 all-time from 30-39 yards.
* Senior PK Nick Diaz scored 10 points against Idaho State to give him 183 career points moving him ahead of Kevin Robinson (182) and into ninth-place all-time in school history in scoring.
* Junior LB Torrey Green forced and recovered his first career fumble.
* Junior RB Rashad Hall scored his first career TD in the second quarter. He also had a season-long rush of 20 yards, and season-highs with 11 carries for 69 yards.
* Senior RB Joe Hill scored his first rushing TD of the season and 10th of his career in the third quarter.
* Junior WR JoJo Natson recorded his first punt return for TD this year from 52 yards. Overall, it is his third punt return for TD of his career. The school record for punt returns for TD is four set by Kevin Robinson (2004-07).
* Senior LB Zach Vigil had nine tackles to give him 252 in his career, moving him ahead of Donald Dicko (249), Jake Doughty (250) and Spencer Waggoner (250) and into 22nd-place all-time in school history.
* Senior FS Brian Suite intercepted his first pass of the season and seventh of his career in the third quarter.
* Junior LB LT Filiaga recorded a career-high 10 tackles.
* Sophomore S Devin Centers recorded his first career sack to go along with a career-high 10 tackles.
* Senior QB Chuckie Keeton moved into 18th-place all-time in school history with 1,239 rushing yards as he rushed for 74 yards against Idaho State. Keeton, who entered the game with 1,165 career rushing yards, moved ahead of David Fiefia (1,193), Profail Grier (1,194), Archie Gibson (1,235) and Joey DeMartino (1,235). Keeton also had a 10-yard rushing touchdown in the game to give him 15 career rushing touchdowns, including his first this year.
* Senior QB Chuckie Keeton moved into sixth-place all-time in school history with 843 pass attempts after attempting 31 passes against Idaho State.
* Sophomore TE Wyatt Houston tied his career-high with two receptions for the second-time this year and third time in his career.
* Redshirt freshmen WR Tyler Weese and Hayden Weichers both had their first career receptions.
* Freshman RB LaJuan Hunt had a season-best seven carries for a season-high 28 yards, and caught his first career pass for 19 yards.
* Sophomore RB Kennedy Williams had a career-high 43 rushing yards, including a career-long rush of 34 yards.
* Junior CB Bryant Hayes had a season-high three pass breakups to go along with a season-high six tackles.
* Senior DE B.J. Larsen had a season-high six tackles.
* Senior P Jaron Bentrude had a season-long 50 yard punt, which is his seventh 50-plus yard punt of his career. Bentrude also had six punts downed inside the 20-yard line giving him 37 punts downed inside the 20-yard line during his career. He also had one punt downed inside the 10-yard line for his 12th of his career.
