CORNELL GREEN
Sport: Men's Basketball
Years: 1960-62

Cornell Green is one of USU's most decorated basketball players having earned All-America honors in 1960 and 1961, as well as all-Skyline honors in each of his three years. Green, a 6-4 forward, set the Aggie career rebounding record with 1,067, which still stands today. He is also the sixth-leading scorer in USU history with 1,890 points. Green also produced some of the best individual seasons in school history as his 745 points in 1962 are still fourth at USU, while his 403 rebounds in 1960 remain a school record for a season.

Green, who is from Richmond, Calif., was selected in the fifth round of the NBA draft by Chicago in 1962, but went on to a 10-year NFL career with the Dallas Cowboys where he was selected to the Pro Bowl seven times and played in two Super Bowls despite not having played college football. In Green's three seasons with the Aggies, USU went to the 1960 NIT winning two games there before winning an NCAA Tournament game in 1962.
