John Clyde Worley was a four-sport standout for the Aggies around 1917-19. He excelled in football, basketball, baseball, and track. He was the team captain of the football team and played key roles in a number of Aggie victories.

Worley was inducted into the Hall of Fame posthumously, as he passed away on July 24, 1954 at the age of 56.
