Len Rohde, a two-time all-Skyline Eight pick during his USU career from 1957-59, was named to the USU all-century football team as an offensive tackle. Rohde was a native of Palatine, Ill. He spent 15 years in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers. He helped San Francisco lead the league in passing offense in 1970 while a member of an offensive line, which allowed the fewest quarterback sacks in NFL history with seven. Rohde also made his only Pro Bowl appearance in 1971. He still holds the 49er club record for consecutive games, played at 208.
Rohde passed away on May 13, 2017 at the age of 79.
